The Derby branch of Peter Cox has completed a large basement waterproofing contract in this major redevelopment scheme for fashion retailer New Look in the heart of Nottingham’s shopping centre.

The work involved the installation of extensive areas of both cementitious waterproof rendering and cavity drainage membrane lining to the below ground floor levels together with a full pump and sump drainage system.

In a highly unusual use of Delta PT cavity drainage membrane, Peter Cox has completed a contract to line out stabling as part of the conversion of derelict farm buildings into a premier racehorse breeding and training facility in Northumberland.

Vear Building Services Ltd, which provides specialist services to a wide range of UK companies and retailers, employed Peter Cox to install a structural basement waterproofing system to HSBC premises in Streatham Hill, London.

Peter Cox Glasgow has completed a large contract for Albany Interiors Ltd who specialise in interior refurbishment of shops and leisure centres. The project in Glasgow’s prestigious Buchannan Street shopping area was to provide an underground waterproofing system in the basement of a retail building which was home to sportstyle company Puma.

The Tannery Building in Glasgow’s St Andrews Square is an iconic five storey end terrace, built in an Italianate style in 1876-77 for John Inglis and Co. by an unknown architect. It has been converted to residential and commercial use and is a listed category B building – of regional importance.

The Peter Cox Lincoln team produced a ‘flawless’ result for a client when it fitted a water proof course to an empty retail unit in Great Yarmouth.

The Peter Cox Liverpool team has completed its part on the £4.5M refurbishment of Mildmay House, a supported housing project for single men managed by charity Chapter 1. The majority of applicants are primarily homeless, unable to remain in their current accommodation or deemed as vulnerable in their current situation.
