Wanting lower energy bills this Autumn and Winter?

Autumn and Winter can be an expensive time of year, not only is Christmas on the horizon but with the temperatures dramatically cooling down outside, our energy bills tend to go up too. Peter Cox may not be able to help you with your Christmas shopping but we do have several products which can help towards saving money on your energy bills.

When external walls get wet, they become damp and cold, therefore their thermal resistance decreases making them less effective at keeping your house warm as heat escapes more rapidly.

Our DryWall Thermotek masonry protection cream repels rain penetration and is scientifically proven to reduce heat loss in single skin masonry.  Just one coat can have an energy saving of up to 29%! This product is so effective, that it has been formally classified by the HMRC as an energy saving material for insulating walls.

So what about walls inside your home?

Internal walls can be susceptible to condensation in both new and old houses and can lead to mould growth. However there are ways to reduce condensation in your home, one of them being Warmerwall, a product exclusive to Peter Cox.

This water-based emulsion can help to drastically reduce the build up of condensation by utilising hollow glass bubble technology – an effective insulating barrier between a cold surface and a warm ambient temperature inside your home.  As well as reducing condensation, Warmerwall is pretty self explanatory; it keeps your walls warmer.

Designed to be placed in rooms with high humidity, our Thermosave Heat Recovery Units are one of the most effective condensation solutions available in the UK.  These units help to eliminate or reduce surface condensation along with recovering up to 75% of the heat that is normally lost with a ‘conventional fan’.

In our attempt to reduce carbon emissions, these units reduce heating costs through their unique heat exchange unit.
