Arranging a policy
If you think your property might have a problem caused by woodworm, rising damp, rot or cavity wall tie corrosion, the first step is to book a full inspection by a Peter Cox Surveyor.
This survey will provide you with a detailed report highlighting any issues and a quote for any immediate treatment required. During this visit the surveyor may also able to provide you with an appropriate insurance quote based on factors such as the age, size and construction of your property

Several weeks before your policy is due for renewal we will write to you to let you know details of the next years premium and how to renew. For more information about renewals please call 0800 633 5712.
Moving home?
If you’re considering selling your property, you have a positive advantage when dealing with a potential buyer by being a policyholder. The insurance policy will give you and your buyer peace of mind that any problems which come up during a pre-purchasing survey and are covered by the policy. We are also able to transfer this policy over to the new owner, free of charge.
As an existing Peter Cox Property Insurance policy holder we also provide a free of charge pre-purchase survey on your possible new property to determine if there are any potential problems with damp, rot, woodworm or cavity wall tie corrosion.
Making a Claim?
If you think you have discovered an insured problem in your property, please call us to discuss and to arrange an appointment for a claims assessor to come and inspect your property. Remember all inspections and call out charges are covered by the policy and you do not have to pay any excess.
