Peter Cox Property Insurance
We understand that your home is one of, if not your most, valuable asset and the last thing you want is to jeopardise the value of that investment. Most buildings insurance companies rarely provide policies that cover problems such as woodworm, rising damp, rot and wall tie corrosion. Peter Cox Property Insurance provides the protection against these common problems giving you peace of mind your investment is safe.
Our insurance is initially offered following a survey by a Peter Cox surveyor. We insure homes and cover all types of domestic properties.
Through payment of an annual premium, we provide insurance protection against the risks of attack to timbers by woodboring insects and wood-rotting fungi as well as risks of rising damp and wall tie corrosion.

Arranging a Policy
If you think your property might have a problem caused by woodworm, rising damp, rot or cavity wall tie corrosion, the first step is to book a full inspection by a Peter Cox Surveyor.
This survey will provide you with a detailed report highlighting any issues and a quote for any treatment required. During this visit the surveyor may also able to provide you with an appropriate insurance quote based on factors such as the age, size and construction of your property
Why Choose Peter Cox Property Insurance?
Woodboring insects can easily fly into any property and wood-rotting fungi spores are in the air that we breathe. Damp courses can gradually deteriorate and become less effective and cavity wall ties may corrode over time. This can all cause damage to the structure of properties and significantly reduce their value.
Taking out a Peter Cox Property Insurance policy will protect you from the costs of dealing with these common property problems.
