Property Preservation Services in Camberley

While some properties date back to the 18th century in Camberley, the town was expanded in the 1950s to create new homes for residents of Surrey who had lost their homes to heavy bombing during the 2nd World War. As with all older buildings, homeowners must be mindful of the problems that can beset their properties such as damp.

Houses that were not really built with modern luxuries such as double-glazing and central heating could be more subject to damp and mould.

Woodworm can be a common problem in properties, especially with the House Longhorn Beetle – a type of woodworm that is native to the UK. Although it is amongst the many parts of the UK, it is most prevalent in Surrey, which is the reason why it is also sometimes aptly named the Camberley Beetle.

Our Camberley branch offers damp proofing, dry rot solutions, woodworm treatment and basement waterproofing to residential and commercial properties across the area.

I met several of the team and was impressed by their work ethic and courtesy. The quality of materials and the approach taken to the damp course work filled me with confidence that we will have no more damp problems at the back of our lounge for a long time to come. A radiator thermostatic valve was accidentally damaged during the work and this was replaced promptly. My thanks to the whole team. – K Platman

Based in the Shire county of Surrey, Camberley is situated 31 miles southwest of central London, between the M3 and M4 motorways. The town is located to the far west of the county, close to the borders of Hampshire and Berkshire.

Once a notorious haunt of highwaymen, Camberley has come a long way since the celebrated writer, Daniel Defoe. While travelling through Surrey during his tour of the British Isles in the mid 1720s, he dismissed the area as: ‘a mark of the just resentment shew’d by Heaven upon the Englishmen’s pride… horrid and frightful to look on, not only good for little, but good for nothing’.
