Peter Cox experts deal with woodworm invasion on Channel 4’s ‘Help My Home is falling down’ programme…. http://fb.me/xj8N8Rwy.

Presenter, Sarah Beeny meets recently engaged couple Mark and Gudrun, whose home is crumbling.

Amongst other structural problems, the cottage timbers are being eaten by woodworm.  Mike Cullen CSRT MIWSc of Peter Cox Ltd, who is the Manager of our West Midlands region, provides expertise to help Sarah and her team come up with an innovative solution to this extreme situation.

The woodworm treatment advice was needed for an infestation of the common furniture beetle. This is known to attack  timber as well as furniture, and is responsible for a lot of damage to property. There’s more about woodworm treatment on our web page.

This episode also shows how to stop a woodworm invasion, and DIY tips for strengthening a roof with truss hangers.
