Getting people back into their homes quickly and safely.

Drying out of properties can take many months and in some cases years.

The Peter Cox Fast Flood Restoration Programme, in conjunction with Rentokil Specialist Hygiene, ensures any period of inaction whilst waiting for a property to be dried is minimised, saving on reinstallation time and accommodation costs, and most importantly, returning your occupants to their homes as quickly and safely as possible.

Our confidence in the programme is backed by the Peter Cox 20 year Timber Treatment Guarantee.

We recently worked on a project in Cumbria.

Our client installs dehumidifiers to the property to start the drying process. Normally this can take up to 3 months, however, as these properties have a wool-based cavity wall insulation, this period may have even longer !

Typically during this drying period, no progress can be made on any restoration of the property.

Peter Cox take a different approach. Using their specialist knowledge of below ground waterproofing and control of rising damp, they have a rapid method of refurbishment to speed up the return of occupants to their homes, a specialist programme is drawn up.

Our first step, in conjunction with Rentokil Specialist Hygiene, is the rapid disinfection of the property to make the working conditions safe from the risk on contamination from overflowing sewers and other bacteria.

Our specialist timer treatment is then carried out. This unique combination of expertise allowed the floorboards to be fitted on the following day after our treatment, in a safe working area.
Our client is now two months and twenty eight days ahead of their original programme to return clients to their properties.
