Don’t cut corners when renovating!

Are you thinking about renovating? Maybe a room in your home, or maybe you have brought a ‘run down’ property that is in need of a complete renovation. Whatever your project may be, make sure it is done properly as cutting corners could cause you unnecessary problems in the future.

What is required for your renovation?

Think about the basics such as electrics and plumbing, are you wanting to put in new lighting or does the central heating system need replacing. There could be some repair work involved such as structural and damp problems.

Be sure to carry out these jobs in a methodical way, there is no point plastering a wall if there is damp present. The damp will seep through the plaster and would have to have a damp proofing course and be replastered all over again (the last thing you want when you’ve just had the whole room decorated and finished).

If you do find damp in your property, contact us here.

We can provide specialist help and provide you with a solution for not only getting rid of damp, but also keeping damp at bay!

Take a look through some of our recent projects to see how we have helped others with some of their renovations.
