The arrival of November means different things to different people. For some, it’s an indicator that it might be time to bust out the winter wardrobe. For others, it serves as a prompt to finally begin the year’s Christmas shopping in earnest. For us at Peter Cox Ltd, November signals the condensation season is definitely underway.
Happily though, the weather from June through to August has been some of the sunniest that the UK has seen in recent years. Even more fortunately, the ambient conditions and agreeable temperatures continued throughout September and October. At one point there was even speculation that we were on the verge of experiencing an Indian summer of sorts, with the autumn months looking set to be considerably milder than usual.
Of course, as the UK market leader in damp proofing, a delay in the onset of condensation season wouldn’t necessarily have been what was best for business here at Peter Cox. Nevertheless, we along with the rest of the nation welcomed the idea of a warmer, drier October with open arms. While none of us were expecting autumnal sunbathing sessions to suddenly become a legitimate pastime, our days are always brighter (no pun intended) when the sun is shining.
The dream of clear Autumn skies came crashing down In October though, where we saw the arrival of the year’s first autumn storm, complete with gale force winds and torrential rain. Despite all the optimistic reports to the contrary, it certainly feels as though condensation season could be looming. The good news is that if that’s the case, you’re in safe hands with us! Our pioneering condensation treatments and innovative damp solutions have been proven time and time again to meet and exceed the needs of our customers.
