Condensation is slowly coming to an end now that Spring is in sight. From the months October to March, condensation can be chaos for homeowners who weren’t prepared for the temperature drop, causing the build up of moisture which potentially could have caused damp in their homes. Now is the time to prepare your house for next Winter !

Condensation can be controlled and here at Peter Cox, we have a range of products which focus specifically on this problem, designed to deliver homes with fresh, filtered air.

Dry Air Whole House Ventilation System dry air ventilation whole house system peter cox

Our Dry Air Whole House Ventilation Systems are designed to ventilate a property quietly and effectively  by gentle increasing the amount of air in the property with clean filtered air, and forcing moisture laden air out through gaps and other ‘nooks and crannies’ where draughts would normally come in to the property. This can be positioned in a loft, landing or hallway (depending on the type of building).

Extractor Fans

These are ideal for rooms where they suffer from high humidity such as bathrooms and kitchens.

Damp and Mould

As mentioned before, condensation can cause damp and mould in homes. However, getting rid of it could be easier than you’d have thought. If you notice mould caused by condensation, clean the area with a bleach based cleaning spray, leave it to dry, and then spray the area with anti-fungal spray. Alternatively Peter Cox sell ‘Mould Cleaning Kits’ with all the items required in one handy box including a quantity of mould resistant paint additive.

If your home is suffering with serve damp, give us a call on 0808 256 6726 or book your survey.
