According to the Wold Meteorological Organisation, the average global temperatures for 2015 could be the warmest on record with UK temperatures rising about 20% faster than the global average.

“2015 is likely to be the hottest year on record, with ocean surface temperatures at the highest level since measurements began.”

“This is all bad news for the planet.”
– Wold Meteorological Organisation
The rise in greenhouse gases in our atmosphere, such as carbon dioxide emissions, has caused our climate to become warmer. Human sources for greenhouse gases may include the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas

It is easy to forget how much carbon dioxide we ‘create’ throughout the winter in our homes, with electricity, oil and gas heating our homes more than any other time in the year.

There are different ways of being able to lower your carbon footprint (don’t worry, we aren’t going to tell you to turn your heating off for the duration of winter), one of them being damp proofing.

Damp walls can lose heat a lot quicker than dry walls, but our DryWall damp proofing course is environmentally friendly and financially efficient.

By using one of our damp proofing experts, we can help you not only eliminate damp problems, but you can also save you money on heating bills and lower your carbon footprint.
