History

The business was founded in 1951, originally specialising in stone cleaning in post war London.

The founder Peter Norman Cox was a pioneer in the development of chemical damp proof courses. In the 1960s he developed and patented his exclusive Transfusion DPC system using a gravity fed, non-flammable siliconate fluid to permeate the masonry and form a barrier against rising damp. In the 1970s Peter Cox diversified into woodworm and dry rot control and remedial wall ties, and we have been market leaders ever since, continuing to innovate and develop solutions for all property preservation issues.
