Health and Safety

In line with the rest of the construction industry Peter Cox Ltd takes its responsibilities for health and safety extremely seriously, both for its own employees, for fellow workers on building sites, for customers and for the general public.

A copy of our Health & Safety Policy is available on request together with details of the organisation and procedures for carrying this out.

In addition the company ensures compliance with all the relevant regulations, particularly those concerned with pesticides, COSHH, manual handling and working at heights.
 

Accreditation

Peter Cox is registered with the CHAS and Safe Contractor schemes and hold a Link Up certificate for work on railway property.

Staff Training


All technicians receive health and safety training and are encouraged to use correctly the PPE with which they are issued. All carry CSCS cards
 
 

Risk Assessments

Work plans are subject to site specific risk assessments and these method statements are made available where appropriate to employers and main contractors, together with MSDS sheets and COSHH assessments for products being used.
