Epoxy Resin Repairs

Used increasingly in the repair and upgrading of structural timber, epoxy resins offer many advantages because of their excellent adhesive qualities, high mechanical strength and resistance to decay.

For beam end repairs, joint stabilisation and floor stiffening, there are many benefits -

Faster repairs – and so reduced costs.
Better aesthetics – the external appearance of timber can be maintained.
Structural advantages – by retaining existing bearing configurations.

Epoxy resin has been used to repair decayed beam ends in these major structural timbers in a warehouse conversion in Lincoln.
